Summary

We have launched the conversion API for Search Ads.
The conversion API is designed to measure and optimize ad performance more accurately.
It is less affected by browser security restrictions and ad blockers, allowing advertisers to obtain more reliable tracking data.
Even if you can't use the current conversion tracking tag, this feature provides conversion tracking.

Comments

  • To use the Conversion API, you need an environment where you can develop and operate applications using the API.
  • This API is available only for Search Ads. It is a separate feature from the Conversion API already provided for Display Ads.
  • The Conversion API can now be used via server-side Google Tag Manager. For details on setup methods and other information, see “LY Ads (Search Ads) Conversion API Tag (for server-side Google Tag Manager)” (added on May 12, 2026).
