Starting from June 30, 2025, we will be unifying the "LINE Business ID" and "Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID" services for corporate customers to a single integrated "Business ID" service under the LY Corporation banner. Please find the details below.

Unification to Business ID

Starting from June 30, 2025, "LINE Business ID" and "Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID" will be unified and changed to the new integrated "Business ID".This means you'll be able to access both LINE and Yahoo! JAPAN corporate customer services using this unified "Business ID".

Applicable services

Services with accounts created using your LINE Business ID, and services logged in to your control panel

All such services are applicable (examples below):

  • ・LINE Official Account
  • ・LINE Ads
  • ・Business Manager
  • ・LINE Marketing Campus

Services with accounts created using your Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID, and services logged in to your control panel

All such services will be gradually integrated beginning with ad services:

  • ・Yahoo! JAPAN Ads (integration planned to begin from June 2025)
  • ・Other services (scope of applicable services to be expanded gradually)

How this will affect you

You'll be able to continue using services you're logging into using your LINE Business ID or Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID.
The Business ID login screen will be changed to a new LY Corporation common login screen design.
Customers using Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID will be asked to perform procedures necessary for integration on a special integration page according to each service once they become applicable.
Integration into the new unified scheme is scheduled to start from June 2025 for ad services, and that for commerce services is planned to occur some time within 2025. Integration for other services is also planned to be rolled out gradually.

Customers using LINE Business ID

Starting from June 30, 2025, customers using LINE Business ID will see their login screen changed to the new LY Corporation common login screen design.
Further, "LINE Business ID" will have its name changed to "Business ID".
Starting from June 30, 2025, the "Business ID Terms of Use" will apply to customers using Business ID.

Customers using Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID

Those customers using Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID will be gradually migrated to use of the new "Business ID" according to each service as they become applicable.
For details, please await the relevant notifications from the services you are using.
There are some actions you'll need to take before you can start using your Business ID. Unification under the new "Business ID" means the new "Business ID Terms of Use" will apply to you and you'll be asked to agree to those terms.
The present Yahoo! JAPAN Business ID Terms of Use will be split into the aforementioned Business ID Terms of Use and "Yahoo! Business Services General Terms".
