As part of ongoing measures for increasing security, 2-step verification will now be required for business accounts, which use email address and password logins. In keeping with this, we are automatically enabling 2-step verification in a gradual rollout for all customers who don't currently have it enabled.

Applicable customers:

Those who are using a business account
Note: This does not apply to customers using other login methods such as login with a LINE account.

Schedule:

- April 30, 2026: You'll no longer be able to set 2-step verification to "Off".

- June 30, 2026: Customers with 2-step verification set to "Off" will have email verification enabled automatically.

Scope of effect:

- Customers whose 2-step verification status is set to "On": No effect

- Customers whose 2-step verification status is set to "Off": Starting from June 30, 2026, email verification will be required on login.

How to check your 2-step verification settings:

Log in using the URL below, and check the "Status" under "2-step verification" on your profile's settings page. If it's set to "On" then no action is needed. If it's set to "Off", please change this setting ahead of the automatic update.

Request to customers with 2-step verification set to "Off":

- Please ensure that you're able to receive emails at your registered email address.

- Turn on email verification from the 2-step verification settings page.

- Text message verification

- Backup code

Note: We recommend configuring backup codes and text message verification in addition to your method of choice in case you lose your ability to use email or authentication app verification for any reason.
